Responsibilities
  • Oversee Daily Operations: Manage and optimize the day-to-day activities of the team, ensuring smooth and efficient operations.
  • Staff Training & Management: Train, develop, and manage staff to ensure they are equipped with the necessary skills and knowledge to excel in their roles.
  • Drive Sales Performance: Set and monitor sales goals, ensuring the team consistently meets or exceeds monthly sales targets. Implement strategies to boost sales performance and identify growth opportunities.
  • Monitor Sales Metrics: Regularly track key performance indicators (KPIs) and other relevant metrics, providing insights and feedback to improve team performance and reach business objectives.
  • Social Media Marketing: Oversee and implement social media marketing strategies to enhance brand visibility, attract leads, and drive sales. Collaborate with the marketing team to create engaging content.
  • Business Development: Identify and pursue new business opportunities, partnerships, and markets to help expand the company’s reach and drive revenue growth.
  • Liaison Between Management and Staff: Act as a key communication link between management and staff, ensuring that information flows effectively and any concerns are addressed promptly.
  • Team Motivation & Morale: Foster a positive work environment by motivating the team, maintaining high morale, and cultivating a strong, cohesive team culture that drives success.
  • Conflict Resolution: Handle any conflicts or challenges within the team, ensuring issues are resolved in a timely and professional manner while maintaining a positive and productive work environment.
  • Performance Reviews & Feedback: Conduct regular performance reviews with team members, providing constructive feedback and actionable recommendations for improvement.
  • Continuous Improvement: Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices, implementing improvements to sales processes, tools, and team workflows to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Collaborate Across Departments: Work closely with other departments (e.g., marketing, product development, finance) to ensure alignment on sales goals, strategies, and initiatives.

Qualifications

Manager Qualifications - A great manager believes in the therapeutic benefits of Massage Therapy, and has the following:

  • Experience in management including but not limited to experience as a sales manager, operations manager, and/or general manager.
  • Excellent leadership skills; ability to lead a team in an organized and efficient way ensuring operations runs smoothly.
  • Ability to implement structure, policies, and procedures.
  • Customer service oriented.
  • Ability to identify and problem solve, set expectations, goals, and delegate.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Possess strong interpersonal skills to communicate with confidence.
  • Must be an excellent organizer and problem solver with strong project management skills.
  • Must be able to work flexible days and hours; including nights, weekends, and holidays.
  • Competent trainer and motivator.
  • MindBody Software experience a plus.
