Job description

Position Summary: To collaborate with all levels including Store Management, Market Management, and Subject Matter Experts. The role involves educating associates and managers on compliance programs, monitoring compliance controls, identifying root causes, and driving corrective actions and continuous improvement to build trust with customers, associates, stakeholders, and regulatory entities.

What you'll do:
  1. Deliver compliance and safety awareness leveraging Ethics and Compliance resources.
  2. Drive compliance improvement by conducting assessments across designated compliance areas such as Health & Safety/Fire Code, Environmental, Consumer Protection, Anti Money Laundering, Food Safety/Pest Control, Privacy & Employment, Licenses & Permits, Anti-Corruption.
  3. Provide on-the-spot compliance training at all levels within the facility, including new associate orientation.
  4. Analyze data to identify gaps and trends, determine root causes, and support the creation and execution of action plans to mitigate risks.
  5. Participate in regulatory visits, including online submissions and engaging appropriate partners for resolution of issues.
  6. Manage the hourly associate accident file process, including online submissions, investigations, and follow-up.
  7. Foster two-way communication with Store Management regarding attendance, progress notes, and accountability.
  8. Assist with collection and verification of documents for customer claim folders.
  9. Follow up on Facilities Maintenance requests and manage pest activity.
  10. Utilize escalation tools to resolve issues and outstanding tickets.
  11. Conduct safety walks and inspections as an active safety team member.
  12. Follow up on action items from Safety Team meetings and inspections.
