Brock University seeks a qualified instructor for the Wind Ensemble course, focusing on both performance and educational aspects. This job advertisement is to fill an existing vacancy in the CUPE4207-1 (Employee Group).
Wind Ensemble I-II-III-IV
Selected wind literature in rehearsal and performance. Development of sight-reading, technical, and interpretive skills.
Rehearsals, 3 hours per week for two terms; participation in dress rehearsals and concert performances as required.
Effective September 1, 2024 - $7,471.08 per half course (195 hours nominally)
Effective September 1, 2024 - $14,942.17 per full course (390 hours nominally)
Please note: Instructors employed in a 2-hour/week lecture or equivalent are responsible for the first hour of seminar/lab in each course.
Duties include scheduled contact time with students and non-classroom activities such as preparation, student consultation, grading, and course administration, in accordance with Article 22.01 of the Collective Agreement.
