Job Title: Clinical Research PhotographerJob Description

The Clinical Research Photographer is tasked with capturing and managing all photographic assets for a multi-site, multi-treatment fat reduction study utilizing the CoolSculpting Elite device. This role requires capturing high-quality before and after photos, which are crucial for measuring the success of the study. With a focus on detail and accurate representation of fat reduction, the photographer must ensure precision both at baseline and during predetermined follow-up visits. Patience is essential, as matching photos can be a meticulous process.

Responsibilities

  • Capture high-quality photos with strong attention to detail.
  • Ensure accurate representation of fat reduction in the treatment area.
  • Upload images to the proper location after each site visit.
  • Perform color balancing, exposure/zoom correction, and cropping to standardized IPR format.

Essential Skills

  • Proficiency with DSLR camera systems.
  • Ability to set up adequate, controlled lighting in small spaces.
  • Proficiency with light photo editing and media management.
  • Strong attention to detail.
  • Ability to handle sensitive materials in a clinical environment.
  • Ability to adapt to quickly changing circumstances without compromising the photos.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

  • Prior clinical study photography experience.
  • Experience in photographing the body.
  • Formal education or training in clinical photography or medical illustration (preferred).
  • Strong communication skills.

Work Environment

This position is 100% remote, with a preference for candidates located on the East Coast. Travel is required almost exclusively for this position, and the photographer will need to handle sensitive materials in a clinical setting.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $70.00 - $80.00/hr.
