Job description

As a Journeyperson Plumber, you’ll be part of a dedicated team working on high-impact projects. While this position is not leadership-focused, it provides a unique chance to join a growing team with ample room for advancement into leadership roles.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Lead and support plumbing tasks including pipe fitting, cutting, trenching, and layout.
  2. Assist in organizing and coordinating site activities, ensuring work is done safely and efficiently.
  3. Ensure compliance with safety regulations, building codes, and company policies.
  4. Perform material delivery, housekeeping, and other on-site tasks as needed.
  5. Work closely with Apprentices and team members, providing guidance when necessary.
  6. Proactively identify and address any issues during projects.

Qualifications:

  1. Licensed Journeyperson Plumber (Red Seal is an asset).
  2. Minimum 2+ years of relevant experience in plumbing or construction (Commercial and/or Industrial experience required).
  3. Multi-licensing is a significant asset (Gas G1, G2 or G3, Steam Fitter).
  4. Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks effectively.
  5. Valid Driver’s License with a clean record.
  6. Flexibility to work weekends and after-hours when needed.
  7. Strong communication skills and a team-oriented attitude.
  8. Monday to Friday, 5:30 am to 3:00 pm with occasional weekend and after-hours work.
