Why is this role open:

We are searching for a person with at least five years of architectural experience to join our Toronto office. The ideal candidate will be someone who is energized, enthusiastic, and technically motivated. The perfect applicant will have broad-based architectural experience and a clear enthusiasm for technical design excellence. The best candidate will be passionate about creating excellent contract papers in a BIM environment, have an in-depth understanding of building envelope construction, excellent oral and written communication skills, excellent organizational abilities, and the capacity to multitask in a busy office.

Responsibilities:

1. Creating and coordinating construction documents, including ensuring that they are in compliance with codes, standards, and specifications.
2. Detailing and documentation in collaboration with team members.
3. Close coordination with engineering consultants.
4. Creating architectural models and construction drawings using Revit and other modeling software.

Must haves:

1. Great portfolio.
2. Strong construction drawing experience.
3. High level ability and experience in Revit.
4. Knowledge of building envelope construction.

Nice-to-haves:

1. CA experience is an asset.
2. Experience using SketchUp, Lumion, or other rendering software.
3. Institutional/healthcare project experience.

Remote/Hybrid - 4 days in office.
