We are currently recruiting for a Wine Taster who would be responsible for providing samples and product information of Arterra Wines Canada products at a store, licensee, or special event and reporting results from each tasting.

Key Responsibilities

  • Booking tastings directly with stores based on direction from AWC Sales Representatives; sending results from tastings to AWC Sales Representatives; keeping up to date on AWC portfolio & product info

  • Greeting customers promptly and courteously; providing samples & product information on featured products; guiding customers to other wines they might enjoy from the AWC portfolio

  • Set-up and tear down of tasting booth; cleaning up workspace upon tasting completion; getting sales results of featured products from tastings

  • Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays

  • Servicing AWC products while at stores for tastings (i.e. applying value ads, topping up displays, etc.)

Requirements

  • Must be 19 years of age or older

  • High School or equivalent education is required

  • Minimum of 1 year’s experience in a similar facing role

  • Smart Serve Certification is required

  • Ability to meet the physical demands of the job to include lifting up to 30lbs, and standing for 4 consecutive hours at a time

  • WSET or Wine Certification preferred
