Job Overview :
As a Software Engineering Manager, you lead a team of engineers delivering reliable, scalable, and high-impact software. You are a servant leader - focused on enabling your team to succeed, grow, and build excellent products. You are deeply involved in both people management and technical execution, partnering closely with Product, Design, and other stakeholders to turn customer needs into working software.
You provide technical oversight while also managing the team's execution rhythm - from sprint planning to delivery. You create an environment where engineers can do their best work, and you're proactive in removing blockers, clarifying priorities, and coaching individuals toward their goals. You hold a high bar for quality and help your team achieve it through sound process, strong collaboration, and clear expectations.
You also play a key role in operational ownership. You ensure the systems your team owns are observable, resilient, and well-maintained.
