Electrical Technician Hixon

Here at E-ppl, we are leading suppliers of Managed Services within the automotive industry, working with main OEMs in the UK and overseas. We are a specialist contractor called upon by OEMs to support their vehicle projects.

Our projects range from carefully planned launch support to reactive quality campaigns. All projects are fully managed, providing a turn-key solution to our customers. We are seeking skilled and experienced Electrical Technicians to join our team, supporting our customer based in Staffordshire on an ongoing contract basis.

Responsibilities

• Installation of electrical components to light commercial vehicles, including lights, lamps, and beacons.
• Fitting and testing reverse sensors and alarms.
• Wiring and fitting electrics to install tow bars.
• Fitting and installing wiring looms, modifying electrical circuits, loom building, and installation.
• Diagnosing faults and rectifying issues.
• Removing and refitting trims and components to vehicles.

Requirements

• High school diploma and auto electrical qualification or equivalent.
• Proven work experience as an Electrical Technician.
• Ability to work in confined spaces.
• Complex problem-solving skills.
• Ability to operate electrical diagnostic equipment.
• Good communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and efficiently.
• Own electrical tools, including a multimeter, crimping tools, socket set, electrical screwdrivers, and trim tools.

Additional Information

Hours of work: Monday to Friday, 8:00 am – 5:00 pm.

Salary: £19.80 per hour.

Contract type: Ongoing, paid via limited company or umbrella company (Outside IR35).
