We're seeking a talented Sheet Metal Designer to join our dynamic team and contribute to projects that shape the future of foodservice.

Job Summary :

The Sheet Metal Designer will be responsible for creating detailed design and fabrication drawings for custom stainless steel foodservice equipment. This role requires a strong understanding of sheet metal fabrication techniques, CAD proficiency, and a passion for custom design solutions.

Key Responsibilities :

• Design and develop sheet metal components & assemblies for custom foodservice equipment using CAD software (SolidWorks, AutoCAD, or similar).
• Interpret customer specifications, architectural drawings, and engineering requirements to create accurate design solutions.
• Collaborate with engineers, project managers, and production teams to ensure manufacturability and functionality.
• Create detailed fabrication drawings, bills of materials (BOM), and flat patterns.
• Continuously refine and improve design standards and processes.
• Participate in project reviews, site visits, and design validation as needed.

Qualifications :

• Associate’s degree or higher in Mechanical Design, Engineering Technology, or a related field.
• 3+ years of experience in sheet metal design, preferably in custom manufacturing environments.
• Proficiency in SolidWorks, AutoCAD, and other CAD software.
• Strong understanding of sheet metal fabrication processes including bending, welding, and finishing.
• Experience with stainless steel preferred.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

Preferred Skills :

• Experience in the foodservice equipment industry or commercial kitchen layout / design.
• Knowledge of industry codes and sanitation standards (NSF, UL, etc.).
• Familiarity with ERP systems and BOM management.
