A leading company in the construction and engineering industry seeks a Contracts & Supply Chain Specialist based in Calgary. The role involves overseeing procurement activities, negotiating contracts, and managing vendor relationships. Candidates should have a relevant degree and substantial experience in procurement within the Oil, Gas & Chemicals sector. On a proposal or project, the Contracts & Supply Chain Specialist oversees Package & Buyout Tracking, Logistics, Inspection and Materials Management. The position provides leadership and management for procurement of engineered equipment, subcontracts, professional services, commodities, permanent plant materials, and small tools and supplies. This position works with a procurement team and interfaces with engineering management, estimating management, design management and site management. Duties also include but are not limited to : project specific contract template development, negotiating with equipment vendors, material vendors, subcontractors and service providers, while consulting with corporate attorneys and senior management when necessary.
