Background: Roots Through Recovery is a trauma-focused outpatient treatment center for adults and adolescents in Long Beach, CA. We have proudly served the Long Beach community since 2016.

We offer dedicated morning and afternoon tracks for primary mental health, primary substance abuse, and co-occurring disorders, provided by an experienced and compassionate clinical team of physicians, clinical psychologists, clinical social workers, marriage and family therapists, drug and alcohol counselors and integrated wellness practitioners.

Our program integrates EMDR, mindfulness, and other cognitive, process, experiential, and expressive therapies, to address the mind, body and spirit. The goal of this approach is to address unresolved trauma, expose our clients to a variety of tools, and help them to develop the skills needed to live a healthy, productive and fulfilling life in recovery. Roots also provides all of our clients with weekly case management, weekly family therapy, as well as monthly family intensive weekends.

Job Summary: Roots Through Recovery is seeking a part-time, licensed Clinical Supervisor (LMFT, LCSW or Psy.D) with experience in substance use, mental health and trauma for our outpatient treatment program in Long Beach, CA.

In this role, you will provide supervision and oversight for adolescent and youth program, review assessments and medical records for potential admissions, conduct utilization reviews, help develop and manage program schedules, complete documentation and data quality reports, oversee clinician new hire orientation and training, and provide clinical services. Part-time Clinical Supervisor Responsibilities:

1. Developing evidence-based treatment program for adolescents with behavioral health disorders.
2. Spearheading the research and development of program curriculum and outcome measures for on-site and field-based services.
3. Reviewing pre-admission assessments and medical records for potential admissions, and determine suitability for programming.
4. Conducting utilization reviews for commercial insurance clients.
5. Coordinating program schedules and staffing.
6. Reviewing outcome measures and ensuring the program is delivering quality care.
7. Ensuring compliance, timeliness, accuracy, and quality of clinical documentation.
8. Developing programs and ensuring compliance with procedures and policies.
9. Carry a clinical caseload.

Position Requirements:

1. Masters degree in behavioral health field.
2. Valid and unrestricted LMFT, LCSW or Psy.D license in California with minimum 2 years' post-licensure.
3. 1+ years of administrative experience in a similar role.
4. Experience working with adolescents.
5. Experience working with substance use disorders, mental health and trauma.
6. Bilingual a plus.
7. Experience with Kipu EHR a plus.
8. Proficient with MS Office Word and Excel.
9. Proficient with supervision, service delivery, and case management fundamentals.
10. Proficient knowledge of applicable laws.
11. Strong people skills.
12. Outstanding communication skills, both written and verbal.
