Job description

We are looking for an accountant to track and evaluate day-to-day activities. Responsibilities include maintaining financial records, running reports for management, and recording a wide range of financial transactions, depending on the business they support.

Responsibilities:

  1. Responsible for Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, and Customer Invoicing
  2. Prepare balance sheet account reconciliations
  3. Maintain adequate internal controls within the accounting processes to ensure well-documented, accurate, and timely financial reporting
  4. Reconcile the company’s bank statements and bookkeeping ledgers
  5. File and remit taxes and other financial obligations
  6. Reconcile and report any discrepancies found in the records
  7. Interact with management, customers, vendors, and other stakeholders

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Bachelor’s or master’s degree in accounting or related field
  • Excellent understanding of accounting rules and procedures, including Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP)
  • Familiarity with a wide range of financial transactions, including Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office suite, including Word, Excel, and Outlook
  • Solid experience of at least 10 years in QuickBooks / QuickBooks Online
  • Ability to work independently and with minimal supervision
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to multi-task
  • Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy
