Key Responsibilities

  1. Supervise shift supervisors, review shift performance, resource utilization, and operational KPIs; ensure effective communication and hand-over between shifts; oversee development and training of staff.
  2. Manage subordinate supervisors overseeing hourly employees; resolve grievances; oversee activities related to machine fabrication or modification.
  3. Coordinate with Control Room Operators; troubleshoot plant systems; develop and implement Standard Operating Procedures for stability and reliability.
  4. Organize and oversee routine and non-routine maintenance activities for the line.
  5. Control product inputs and outputs to meet quality targets and produce according to specifications.
  6. Ensure compliance with environmental laws and company commitments.
  7. Maintain adherence to occupational health and safety regulations and goals.

Qualifications

  • Desirable: Experience with cement manufacturing processes, kiln operation, process control, and predictive maintenance.
  • Knowledge of health, safety, and environmental legislative/regulatory requirements.
  • Mechanical aptitude and extensive experience in kiln operations and processes.
