Job Description: Quality, Environmental, Health & Safety Manager

We are seeking talented individuals to join our team as a Quality, Environmental, Health & Safety Manager. The role involves developing, maintaining, and implementing company policies, processes, and systems related to quality, environmental, health, and safety standards.

Location

On-site in Ontario, California, USA, just one hour from the Greater Los Angeles Area, known for beaches, entertainment, and cultural diversity.

Responsibilities
  1. Manage Receiving Inspectors, Final Inspectors, and Quality Engineers.
  2. Maintain and develop the quality system, ensuring ISO 9001:2015 certification in Ontario and Mexicali facilities.
  3. Maintain ISO 14001:2015 and ISO 45001:2018 certifications in Ontario.
  4. Coordinate external audits and lead internal system audits, including training auditors.
  5. Respond to customer complaints, perform root cause analysis, and implement corrective actions.
  6. Manage the Corrective Action Preventive Action (CAPA) program.
  7. Contribute to APQP activities, including preparing and submitting PPAP packages.
  8. Ensure product and process qualification prior to changes, relocations, or new product start-up.
  9. Develop and review QEHS risk assessments.
  10. Participate in incident investigations and report preparation.
  11. Train employees on EH&S risks and ensure compliance with regulations.
  12. Review specifications for military, automotive, aerospace, and commercial contracts.
  13. Identify resource needs and manage budgets.
  14. Set and report on QEHS objectives and metrics.
  15. Communicate effectively across all organizational levels.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in a related technical field.
  • Minimum 3-5 years of manufacturing experience, including team management.
  • Understanding of electromechanical concepts.
  • Knowledge of ISO 9001:2015, ISO 14001:2015, and ISO 45001:2018 standards.
  • Strong statistical and problem-solving skills (SPC, NQA, DOE, PDCA, 8D, FMEA).
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and travel as needed.
Compensation and Benefits

Annual salary between $100,000 and $120,000, plus comprehensive benefits including health care, financial support, and career development opportunities.
