Part-Time Facility Monitor

Schedule: Monday to Friday, 1 hour per day

Location: Almonte

Compensation: $17.20/hour plus gas allowance

We are seeking a Facility Monitor for an immediate opening in the West Ottawa Area. With over 50 years of operation and more than 500 employees across multiple provinces, Domus has an excellent reputation as a janitorial services provider.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Pick litter outside during off hours
• Perform typical building maintenance duties
• Wipe down furnishings, windows, and doors
• Apply pesticide to control pests such as mosquitoes, wasps, ticks, and others
• Collect and dispose of trash regularly
• Follow policies, guidelines, and safety rules to maintain a safe work environment
• Perform other duties as required

Required Skills and Abilities:

• Previous cleaning or janitorial experience is an asset
• Ability to lift 40 lbs or more regularly
• Effective communication skills in English (bilingual in French a plus)
• Reliability and dependability
• Legally authorized to work in Canada
• Reside in the Ottawa/Almonte region
