This role supports and facilitates staff nurses within Child, Youth, and Family to achieve excellence in nursing practice through the development, provision, and evaluation of clinical nursing strategies, education, and resources. It requires applying a broad knowledge of the healthcare environment, nursing science and art, educational theories and models, program and curriculum development, organizational and team systems, planned change, process consultation, and research utilization. The goal is to provide role modeling, leadership, consultation, promote a positive learning culture, and advance professional nursing practice.
Graduation from a recognized nursing program with community or public health content. Registration with BC College of Nurses and Midwives as a practicing RN. At least three years of recent related experience, including two years in Public Health Nursing. Travel is required, and arrangements must meet program requirements.
