Position Overview

Key Responsibilities
- Conduct daily outbound phone calls to engage Investment Professionals, generating leads and building professional relationships within a defined target segment (~100 calls/day).
- Record daily call activities accurately, updating and maintaining information in our client's proprietary database.
- Develop and maintain an understanding of diverse industries and financial products, including Equities, Mutual Funds, ETFs, IPOs, and Structured Products.
- Collaborate with team members to create and implement innovative outreach strategies for client campaigns.
- Support senior team members with administrative tasks and assist on special projects as needed.
Qualifications & Experience
- A university degree or college diploma in Commerce, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field is required.
- Completion of the Canadian Securities Course (CSC) is preferred.
- Prior experience in business development or sales, ideally within financial services, is an asset.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to deliver compelling responses and handle objections confidently.
- Demonstrated resilience and problem-solving abilities, with a proactive approach to turning challenges into opportunities.
- Adaptability and strategic thinking, with an ability to adjust outreach techniques based on real-time feedback.
- Experience with CRM tools to track and manage interactions and data.
- Excellent collaboration skills, with a positive, team-oriented mindset.
- A solid understanding of financial markets or a keen interest in learning more.
- Exceptional organizational skills and time management abilities.
