Job Summary

Summary: Takes food and beverage orders and efficiently delivers items to dining room guests.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

1. Promptly and warmly greet guests; take food and beverage orders following established service steps.
2. Deliver food promptly and professionally; maintain food safety and sanitation standards; assist guests as needed.
3. Understand menu items and ingredients; advise guests on food and drink pairings; accommodate dietary needs and preferences.
4. Communicate with back-of-the-house staff to ensure correct order delivery and special requests.
5. Exhibit excellent communication skills; remain flexible and patient with guests and staff.
6. Handle tickets and cash following proper procedures.
7. Maintain a clean, safe, and neat environment.
8. Respect confidentiality regarding personal or medical information.
9. Address complaints promptly; communicate issues to supervisor.
10. Set up and clean the dining area before and after service, adhering to sanitation standards.
11. Operate equipment like fire extinguishers, telephones, and coffee machines.
12. Collaborate with other departments during special events.
13. Perform additional duties as assigned.
