Job Responsibilities
  1. Sort, collect, and deliver mail items safely and efficiently.
  2. Learn and maintain knowledge of local infrastructure, including roads, customer locations, and delivery receptacles.
  3. Ensure mail is securely stored during delivery.
  4. Process CPC products and services such as Change of Address, Damaged Mail, and Items Delivered Bill (IDB).
  5. Wear and display Canada Post identification during deliveries.
  6. Lift and carry items weighing up to 50 lb (22.7 kg).
  7. Operate a motor vehicle in all weather and traffic conditions.
Other Information

Mandatory Vehicle Requirements

  • Valid provincial driver’s license - class 5 or G.
  • Satisfactory safe driving record.
  • Minimum cargo capacity of 50 cu ft (1415 liters).
  • Automatic transmission, power windows, and a metal roof-top with accessory power outlet.
  • Vehicle features to accommodate oversized items, such as a fifth door or hatchback (preferred).
  • Maintain automobile liability insurance and notify your insurer of your employment use.
