Responsibilities:
  1. Properly train staff to understand policies and procedures and communicate effectively with customers.
  2. Schedule the department appropriately to meet business needs.
  3. Handle customer complaints efficiently and properly.
  4. Comply with all Health and Safety and Food Safety policies within the store and ensure staff adherence.
  5. Train and motivate staff.
  6. Delegate and prioritize workload for staff.
  7. Effectively merchandise advertising and promotional programs.
  8. Recommend achievable and aggressive sales goals.
  9. Maintain up-to-date knowledge of market trends and competitor activities.
  10. Manage product receiving, storing, and handling to ensure efficiency.
  11. Ensure proper product rotation and signage for displays to enhance sales and profits.
  12. Maintain pricing integrity.
  13. Be accountable for the store in the absence of the Franchisee, including key carrying and alarm responsibilities.
  14. Perform other duties to ensure courteous service, competitively priced products, and store hygiene standards.
Qualifications/Experience:
  1. Preference for 2 years of management experience.
  2. Understanding of critical success factors for the No Frills discount food store concept focused on low price image.
  3. Knowledge of the produce department’s impact on store performance, including merchandising, inventory management, invoice checking, and cleanliness standards.
  4. Excellent communication skills.
  5. Customer-focused mindset.
  6. Ability to manage people and work independently with minimal direction.
  7. Solid knowledge of produce operations and products.
  8. Open availability and flexibility to work days, nights, weekends, and holidays as needed.

Hiring Range: $37,500 - $55,300 per year. Compensation may vary based on experience, knowledge, and location.
