As a core member of our Loan operation team, you will work with some of the industry’s most accomplished professionals to deliver award-winning services for the world’s largest alternative credit lenders. Citco’s total loan portfolio exceeds $100B, covering various asset and loan types including publicly traded bank debt, private syndications, middle market transactions, and commercial real estate. We provide shadow and direct loan agency services.

About The Role

This is an analytical and multi-faceted role requiring the ability to analyze and maintain a range of complex loan security types and lifecycle events in support of loan operations functions.

Responsibilities

• Manage a client with an extensive portfolio of various loan types and all associated lifecycle activities to maintain the client’s portfolio effectively.
• Provide daily oversight of a team of over 20 offshore analysts/associates/managers.
• Ensure internal and external deliverables are met timely and accurately.
• Assist in onboarding new loans and/or portfolios, including setup and testing of workflows.
• Review loan agreements and complete term sheet abstracts for onboarding to the loan system.
• Oversee and monitor accurate processing of loan lifecycle activities including borrowings, repayments, and fees.
• Assist in resolving workflow exceptions such as trade capture, lifecycle activity, cash transactions, and fees.
• Maintain standard processes within a robust control environment, with continuous improvement initiatives.
• Collaborate with internal teams to streamline and enhance processes.
• Support and conduct training on standard loan operations processes.
• Handle client queries and provide loan support.

About You

• Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field with at least 7 years’ experience in loan administration.
• Product knowledge in Bi-lateral Loans, Direct Lending, Whole Loans, Warehouse Lending, Structured Credit, Commercial and Industrial Loans, Middle Market Credit, Real Estate Loans, Asset Backed Credit.
• Focused, accurate, and detail-oriented.
• Team-oriented with willingness to support and cross-train across functions.
• Strong communication skills, both oral and written.
• Self-starter with initiative.
• Experience in effective communication with external and internal customers, including relationship managers and related departments.
• Minimum of 5 years’ experience in people management.
• Experience maintaining controlled environments and adhering to SOPs.
• Flexible and adaptable to operational changes.
• Sentry PM experience is a plus.
