Base pay range

115,000.00 / yr - $140,000.00 / yr

As an Oracle Developer - ERP, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining Oracle database solutions and ERP modules for the Oracle E-Business Suite.

Duties include but are not limited to :

• Designing and implementing Oracle database solutions
• Configuring and customizing ERP modules, specifically HR / Finance
• Developing technical design documents and supporting development deliverables
• Providing production support on a rotation basis
• Conducting code / design reviews with internal and external application development teams
• Ensuring compliance with City standards and protocols
• Serving as an essential employee, available for on-call support 24 / 7 during emergencies

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES :

• Considerable knowledge in software applications such as Oracle e-Business Suite, Oracle RDMS, and PuTTY / WinSCP
• Functional knowledge of application specific and advanced technical skills in area of focus such as PL / SQL, EBS-R-12 and / or coding and developing new applications
• Reviewing and evaluating proposed applications
• Coding and debugging program changes
• Collaborating with other systems personnel for technical programming guidance and system knowledge
• Communicating with and supporting various internal and external departments -Converting business requirements into technical designs
• Creating and maintaining required documentation for programs, testing, and other required deliverables
• Evaluating and recommending changes to current and future system requirements -Preparing flow charts, structure charts, and other design documents
• Teaching and instructing clients on the use of applications
• Testing and deploying applications to the servers; and upgrading and maintaining existing system applications.
• Demonstrated abilities in listening actively
• Solving complex problems
• Thinking critically and decide the best way to address a problem -Managing time effectively
• Recognizing issues and proactively troubleshoot the identified problem
• Understanding the steps required for problem resolutions and workarounds.

Required Skills & Experience

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, systems development, or database management
• Strong knowledge of Oracle e-Business Suite, Oracle RDMS, and PuTTY / WinSCP (non-cloud Oracle environment)
• Proficiency in PL / SQL and EBS-R-12 - coding and developing
• Experience with Oracle Forms and Reports, preferably within large-scale Oracle databases
• Experience in financial or HR environments
