Job Description

Starting Rate of Pay: $17.82/hr CAD

Job Duties Include:
  • Assist in the production and execution of all food items for à la carte and banquet menus according to hotel recipes and standards.
  • Ensure the cleanliness and maintenance of all work areas, utensils, and equipment.
  • Ensure compliance with hotel EHC policies and standards.
  • Have full knowledge of all menu items, daily features, and promotions.
  • Ensure proper labeling, dating, and storage of all items in the kitchen.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by the CDP relevant to day-to-day operations.
Qualifications

Your experience and skills include:

  • Previous experience in the culinary field (asset).
  • Understanding of knife use and safety (required).
  • Completion of a certified food service handling course (required).
  • Diploma or certification in a culinary discipline (asset).
  • Valid Alberta driver’s license (asset).
  • Subsidized staff accommodation provided.
  • Complimentary meal in our staff cafeteria each shift.

Additional Information

Visa Requirements: Must be legally eligible to work in Canada. The hotel is unable to assist candidates in obtaining Canadian work authorization.
