Job Title: Massage Therapist

Responsibilities:

• Perform high-quality massage therapy sessions tailored to meet the individual needs of clients, including Swedish, deep tissue, sports, and therapeutic massage techniques.
• Conduct thorough assessments of clients' medical histories, conditions, and treatment goals to ensure safe and effective massage therapy interventions.
• Communicate effectively with clients to understand their preferences, concerns, and expectations, and provide appropriate recommendations for ongoing treatment and self-care practices.
• Maintain accurate and detailed client records, including treatment plans, progress notes, and documentation of outcomes, in compliance with regulatory standards and best practices.
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals, such as physiotherapists, chiropractors, and occupational therapists, to ensure coordinated care and optimize client outcomes.
• Stay informed about current trends, research, and developments in massage therapy and related fields, and participate in ongoing professional development activities to enhance skills and knowledge.

Qualifications:

• Registered Massage Therapist (RMT) certification from a recognized massage therapy program.5
• Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to establish rapport with clients in a professional and empathetic manner.
• Excellent communication skills, including the ability to explain treatment options and recommendations clearly and effectively.
• Commitment to providing high-quality, client-centered care and promoting wellness and healing through massage therapy.
• Flexibility to work weekdays, evenings, and weekends as needed to accommodate client schedules.

Salary Range: $30.00 - $35.00 per hour
