Sales Leader – Canada

Location: Major Metropolitan Area, Canada

We are seeking a dynamic and entrepreneurial Sales Leader with a winning mindset to drive growth in our Enterprise Canada business. This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated self-starter that likes to build and is looking to make an incredible impact by taking market share, capturing new logos, and deepening partner relationships. The ideal candidate will resonate with and help drive our three strategic pillars of expanding routes-to-market, empowering our salesforce, and operating with excellence. This position will report directly to the SVP of Enterprise Americas Sales and should be located in a major metropolitan area in Canada.

Position Responsibilities:

  1. Lead, drive, and champion our primary focus of capturing greater market share in Enterprise, Data Center, WAN, Security, and Software offerings across Canada.
  2. Lead a high-performance sales team and work tirelessly to establish Juniper as “The Destination” for top talent in Canada. Attract, develop, and retain top talent through enablement, coaching, and bolstering the strong culture at Juniper.
  3. Develop territory plans and quota assignments for Canada.
  4. Accurately forecast monthly, quarterly, and annual sales achievement.
  5. Meet/exceed geo quota, margin, and product mix expectations.
  6. Influence, engage, and enable appropriate partners in support of our go-to-market strategy.
  7. Ensure that Juniper delivers a superior customer experience.
  8. Manage the extended supporting sales team and work closely with corporate PLMs, Architects, Center of Excellence, and supporting Juniper resources.
  9. Deliver business value to the accounts and build on customer relationships. Must demonstrate the necessary skills to negotiate issues with peers, partners, and customers using a Win/Win philosophy.

Candidate Background:

  1. Energetic and charismatic sales leadership skills that can motivate both an internal and external sales team to meet quarterly objectives and strategic goals.
  2. 10+ years of progressive sales leadership roles, including leading a direct sales organization with management of matrix resources.
  3. Must have industry knowledge of Cisco, ARISTA, HP, Palo Alto Networks, and Juniper product portfolios.
  4. Prior success, skills, and experience in leading a high-performing sales region that produces > $30M in annual product, services, and solutions revenue.
  5. Experience developing and implementing a successful go-to-market plan and multiyear (three-year) business/sales plan.
  6. Experience in engaging internal and external stakeholders to drive sales.
  7. Exceptional customer-facing/listening skills and the ability to coach the same within the team.
  8. Exceptional communication skills, including listening, written, and public speaking. Fluency in French a plus.
  9. Strong quantitative analytical skills.
  10. Key industry and customer (CxO) relationships.
  11. Must have a clear understanding of industry selling methodology; MEDDICC.
  12. Ability to Travel.
