Key Responsibilities :
- Directing and overseeing the daily operations of the maintenance department in a manufacturing facility.
- Developing and implementing maintenance procedures and strategies to ensure optimal equipment functionality and uptime.
- Managing a team of maintenance technicians and engineers, including scheduling, training, and performance management.
- Planning and prioritizing maintenance activities to minimize production downtime and maximize efficiency.
- Coordinating with production and other departments to schedule maintenance activities without disrupting operations.
- Conducting regular inspections of equipment and facilities to identify and address potential issues before they escalate.
- Managing inventory and procurement of spare parts and supplies necessary for maintenance activities.
- Ensuring compliance with safety regulations and promoting a culture of safety among maintenance staff.
- Analyzing equipment performance data and implementing improvements to enhance reliability and efficiency.
- Collaborating with external contractors and vendors as needed for specialized maintenance projects or services.

- Demonstrated experience in managing maintenance operations within a manufacturing environment.
- Proficiency in developing and implementing maintenance procedures and strategies to optimize equipment performance and minimize downtime.
- Proven ability to lead and supervise a team of maintenance technicians and engineers, including scheduling, training, and performance management.
- Strong understanding of preventive maintenance techniques and ability to develop and execute preventive maintenance programs.
- Experience in troubleshooting equipment failures and implementing corrective actions to ensure minimal disruption to production.
- Knowledge of maintenance-related software systems for tracking work orders, managing inventory, and analyzing equipment performance data.
- Familiarity with safety regulations and protocols relevant to maintenance activities in a manufacturing setting.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams, including production, engineering, and procurement, to achieve maintenance objectives.
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to convey technical information clearly and concisely.
