Our EV Facility Analyst I is part of our Commercial Markets team. This entry-level position is a great opportunity to progress your career in the exciting and rewarding field of EV charging and energy efficiency. Target hourly range is $24 - $32/hour. The range may vary within the range based on factors such as location of the role, and a candidate’s experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities.

EV Facility Analyst I Responsibilities

  • Conducts surveys of customer facilities and assesses the current condition, operational performance and deficiencies of the building systems and infrastructure.
  • Perform on-site information gathering, testing and technical measurements such as parking spacing, panel locations, and data logging of electrical systems.
  • Gather and review existing building plans for customer facilities to gain an understanding of the history and current condition of their facilities.
  • Develop various marked-up floor plans that illustrate existing conditions, such as utility line/ transformers, main panel/ sub-panel, and civil/site information.
  • Develop documents for the development team illustrating facility issues and opportunities for improvements.
  • Collaborate with and assist project developers, designers, and engineers in identifying and developing EV Charging solutions.
  • Assist development team on proposal .
  • Work towards continuous individual and team process and quality improvement.

EV Facility Analyst I Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED required.
  • 0-2 years construction or auditing experience in electrical systems or related industries , but not required.
  • Required to maintain an active drivers license, good driving record and have reliable transportation to report to various locations.
  • Knowledge of EV technology , but not required.
  • Willingness to learn EV charging technologies at a fast pace.
  • Experience performing sales liaison and client collaboration in energy or related industries helpful.
  • Professional oral and written communication skills required.
  • Willingness to coordinate all aspects of audit related travel.
  • Must be able to work independently, with minimal supervision under time sensitive deadlines.
  • Must enjoy continuously learning about technology and possesses technological aptitude.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office.
  • Works well with others; team oriented.
  • Up to 50-70% travel will be required for site assessments/surveys/audits.

Work Environment & Physical Requirements

  • Field work requires full days of travel and actively moving about building/property sites.
  • Able to move or lift up to 50 lbs.
  • Able to withstand varying temperatures and weather conditions typical in an outdoor environment.
  • Position spends significant amount of time standing, walking, lifting, and may require climbing of ladders, and/or working from heights, and occasional pushing and pulling.
