U.S. Bank is seeking a full stack software engineer for their TravelBank team. The role involves developing backend services and collaborating with mobile teams to enhance user experience. Ideal candidates will have experience in Agile development and proficiency in EmberJS, Express.js, and TypeScript.

About the team
TravelBank (a U.S. Bancorp company) is a Fast, flexible travel & expense management system for business with travel agents on-the-go. In 2021, TravelBank was acquired by U.S. Bank (NYSE: USB) to accelerate the bank’s payments strategy.
We are in search of a full stack software engineer to join the full stack team within our larger product development team. At TravelBank, our full stack team works on our web/desktop experience as well as building and maintaining the backend services to support all of our frontend applications, web, iOS, Android. As a member of the full stack team you will be a driving force in the culture of our engineering team as well as having an immediate impact on the product we deliver to our customers.
Work on a team of full stack engineers to write efficient, scalable, easily maintainable, well abstracted code, well tested code.
Communicate and work closely with product owners, designers, and engineers to plan and refine upcoming features.
Work closely with mobile teams on interface between backend services and frontend platforms.
Perform code reviews and pair with other engineers.
Participate in team discussions on how to improve our stack and processes.
Troubleshoot and resolve bugs and regressions.
Basic Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree, or equivalent work experience
Three to five years of relevant experience
Preferred Skills/Experience
Adept with agile software development lifecycle and DevOps principles
2+ years experience developing and debugging in EmberJS or similar component based framework
2+ years experience developing with Express.js and TypeScript
3+ years of iterative Agile development and rapid release
Proficient understanding of algorithms, data structures, architectural design patterns and best practices
Effective problem-solving and analytical skills
