About the Opportunity

As a Mechanical Associate, you’ll play a key leadership role in managing high-profile commercial, retail, institutional, and mixed-use projects from concept through completion. You’ll oversee a team of talented engineers and designers, ensuring seamless project execution, client satisfaction, and technical excellence.

Your Responsibilities

  • Oversee and manage mechanical engineering projects, ensuring timely and high-quality delivery.
  • Lead a team of engineers and designers, providing mentorship and technical guidance.
  • Develop and review mechanical designs for HVAC, plumbing, and fire protection systems.
  • Represent the firm in client meetings, design coordination discussions, and presentations.
  • Conduct construction phase reviews and progress assessments.
  • Ensure compliance with building codes, industry standards, and sustainability best practices.

Your Qualifications

  • University degree in Mechanical Engineering.
  • 10+ years of experience in mechanical building systems design.
  • P.Eng designation required.
  • Experience in LEED-certified and multi-disciplinary projects is an asset.
  • Strong leadership and communication skills (verbal, written, and presentation).
  • Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
