BACAS Family Wines is a third-generation pioneering Canadian wine family with portfolio of luxury wine brands including Quails’ Gate Winery, Ailm Estate, Plume, and Field & Flight. Qualis’ Gate Winery, located in the Okanagan Valley, has four vineyards, a highly acclaimed farm-to-table restaurant, bistro-style store and offers two luxury accommodations. As one of Canada’s most established and respected wine producers, Quails’ Gate is committed to excellence in viticulture and winemaking, farming 400 acres of vineyards and continuously innovating to produce world-class wines.

On behalf of Quails’ Gate Winery, Boyden is seeking two Independent Directors to join the Board. These positions will be responsible for providing strategic oversight and governance, ensuring the long-term success and sustainability of the business. The new Board Directors will contribute to key strategic priorities, including growth through expansion, environmental risk management, and sourcing innovations to adapt to market dynamics.

Both Board Directors must bring strong governance experience (having sat on a Board previously), bring operations experience (as a CEO, GM or similar) and be an astute financial leader (e.g. CPA or P&L expertise). Experience in a family-run business would be a strong asset, as would be knowledge gained in a relevant sector (CPG, F&B, direct-to-consumer, etc.). One Board Director must be interested in and have experience as the Board Chair.
