Your Opportunity at ARC’TERYX:

As the People and Culture Coordinator, you will collaborate with your team and department People Leaders to provide operational support on all people processes. Your passion for data and process improvement will drive the continuous evolution of P&C processes, projects, and programs, and contribute to an exceptional candidate and employee experience.

This role is based out of our New Westminster location and is a hybrid position. Candidates must be eligible to work in Canada.

Part of the greater People and Culture (P&C) team, The People and Culture Business Partner function leads, informs, and activates the People Strategy to meet and exceed business objectives. The team operates in strategic partnership with the business, driving the continuous evolution of people and leadership practices and fosters a culture that generates high performance teams, strengths-based coaching, and values-based leadership.


If you were in the People & Culture Coordinator role now, here are some of the core activities you would be doing:
  • Acting as the first point of contact for all employee P&C inquiries, supporting and empowering our employees with the right information and resources
  • Processing and tracking all employee changes including new hires, requisitions, promotions, changes, terminations, leaves in Workday and other systems as needed, ensuring all relevant parties are informed
  • Managing the day-to-day administrative tasks of the P&C team such as creation of offer letters, termination letters, change letters, and promotion letters as required
  • Continuous improvement: striving to evolve P&C operations, decrease turnaround times, streamline work processes, and work collaboratively to provide quality support to our People Leaders and employees
  • Partnering cross-functionally on company events and activations including listening sessions, huddles, workshops, celebrations and other brand initiatives to improve employee experience
  • Partnering with cross-functional P&C teams for preboarding and onboarding tasks as required, including ensuring our new hires are fully set up on their first day and supporting the execution of our Basecamp program
  • Acting as the gatekeeper of all people data, ensuring its accuracy and integrity across all systems
  • Preparing people-related data and reports as required to support effective decision making across the P&C team
  • Assist Generalists and Business Partners with employee relations tasks such as intake meetings, interviews and mediations
  • Supporting and managing all P&C projects and programs as required
Here are some of the things you could be working on in the future:
  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams on Data Analytics and Reporting - documenting process flows and standard operating procedures
  • Championing data integrity and information systems flow (Workday, ADP WFN, Lever etc)
  • Engage your public speaking skills and represent the P&C department in various speaking engagements such as team meetings, huddles and events.
  • Work closely with your leader on a customized development plan that will help you reach your professional goals
  • Receive mentorship and guidance from Generalists and Business Partners as part of a dynamic team
  • Planning and building stoke on all major People & Culture activations with an experienced team – such as events, trainings, workshops, surveys and more
  • Co-facilitating our Basecamp Onboarding program to welcome new faces to Arc’teryx
Are you our next People & Culture Coordinator?
  • You have a post-secondary education and minimum 1 years’ experience in an operational role within HR, customerservice, administration, or other relevant field
  • You have strong verbal and written English communication skills
  • Your ability to speak a second language is an asset
  • You maintain professionalism in dealing with high volumes of sensitive and confidential information
  • You are exceptionally organized with an eye for detail and accuracy
  • You are open and approachable with a customer-service focused mentality
  • You consistently evaluate and evolve existing processes
  • You have a highly collaborative working style and the ability to build strong relationships across the company
  • You effectively balance autonomy and collaboration
  • You inspire breakthrough thinking and continuous improvement

$61,000 - $76,000 a year A reasonable estimate of the pay range is CAD$61,000 - CAD$76,000 at the time of this posting. Within the range, individual pay is determined by factors such as job-related skills, relevant experience, education and/or training. The upper end of the range is typically reserved for candidates with demonstrated expertise that is above job requirements or who bring exceptional directly transferable experience.
Please note that the range details above reflect the base pay only and does not include our competitive bonus program and benefits that we offer.
