A leading healthcare provider in British Columbia is seeking a Mental Health & Substance Use Nurse to deliver essential mental health services in community settings. The role involves assessment, treatment, and rehabilitation, requiring strong communication and crisis intervention skills. Under the general direction of the team leader or designate, the nurse serves in a multidisciplinary Intensive Case Management Team, primarily providing services in community settings, with some facility-based services as needed. The role involves delivering core mental health and addictions services, including assessment, treatment, rehabilitation, and support, in partnership with clients, families, and community healthcare resources. Based on an identified rehabilitation plan, the nurse develops, plans, implements, and maintains comprehensive clinical services and client-centered rehabilitation programs.
