The IT Architect & Team Lead role at Collabria Financial Inc. involves both technical leadership and team management. You will support the manager by overseeing a multidisciplinary team and coordinating with external service providers to develop, maintain, and optimize IT systems that support revolving credit account granting and management. This role requires deep technical expertise, strategic thinking, and strong leadership capabilities. You will guide your team through complex projects, ensure alignment with business goals, and foster a collaborative, high-performance culture. Your specific responsibilities will include:

  1. Act as a technology expert and architectural lead, guiding work teams in designing, developing, and implementing IT solutions.
  2. Maintain proactive communication with IT Security and secure necessary approvals promptly.
  3. Collaborate with management to drive technology projects aligned with strategic objectives.
  4. Ensure team goals are met and maintain high satisfaction among internal customers and business partners.
  5. Manage the lifecycle and modernization of platforms and tools (e.g., Salesforce, Jira), including obsolescence planning and updates.
  6. Oversee testing activities to meet quality standards and implement IT security practices in line with organizational policies.
  7. Ensure compliance with external service provider contractual obligations and manage vendor relationships effectively.
  8. Lead HR functions for the team, including recruitment, performance evaluations, talent development, and team building.

What you bring to the table

  • Bachelor's degree in a related field
  • Minimum of eight years of relevant experience; other qualifications may be considered
  • Certifications such as PMP, Scrum Master, ITIL, Azure, Salesforce
  • Experience in project management, IT solutions implementation, and master plan development
  • Leadership or team management experience
  • French language skills required for Quebec positions
  • Advanced proficiency in English
  • Expert knowledge of Azure
  • Advanced knowledge of Salesforce suite (Service, Market, Data, Experience Cloud)
  • Knowledge of the application development cycle and modern development approaches (Agile, DevSecOps)
  • Expertise in IT fields such as development, quality assurance, project management, software architecture, and cloud computing
  • Intermediate knowledge of the credit card market and retail banking industry
