Job Description

1. We are seeking a full-time Class 1 driver for our Whitehorse location.
2. Monday to Friday with a start time of 7:30 am.
3. Able to load and unload freight manually or using a pallet jack or wheeler.
4. Pick up and deliver freight to a variety of customers.
5. Perform daily runs safely and efficiently.
6. Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

1. Class 1 license required.
2. Knowledge of the Whitehorse area is an asset.
3. Ability to complete proper pre/post & inter trips.
4. Knowledge of ELD (Electronic Logging Devices).
5. Knowledge of hours of service.
6. Knowledge of load securement, TDG & WHMIS.
7. Must have good customer service skills.
8. Must be able to lift over 50 pounds unassisted.
9. Must be reliable, dependable, and hard working.
10. Must be able to provide a clean criminal record check, driver's abstract, and 2 work-related references.
