SUMMARY:

Manage customer service functions, including cash handling, cashier supervision, and merchandising.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

HUMAN RESOURCES:

• Ensure cashier/merchandising staff comply with all store policies and operating procedures.
• Train cashiers/merchandisers in job functions.
• Provide ongoing guidance and instruction.

LOSS PREVENTION:

• Implement all loss prevention standards, manage daily cash office inventory, cashier tracking, tracking sheets, and PC Optimum procedures.

CUSTOMER SERVICE:

• Ensure store employees present a proper image to the public in accordance with Uniform Policy.
• Answer inquiries regarding product locations, rainchecks, etc.
• Resolve customer issues according to established guidelines (refunds, exchanges, etc.).
• Promote the CSI Survey.

MERCHANDISING:

• Ensure shelves are clean, organized, and properly stocked with rotation.
• Set up and take down product displays as directed by the AFSM/FSM.

GENERAL:

• Maintain standards of housekeeping and store image.
• Comply with all Health and Safety requirements.
• Perform clerical and banking duties as needed.
• Follow all store policies and procedures.
• Execute loss prevention policies and procedures.
• Perform other duties, including cashier responsibilities when necessary.

QUALIFICATIONS:
