As a Driver Guide, you will contribute to making the Columbia Icefield Adventure and Columbia Icefield Skywalk experiences memorable, entertaining, and informative for guests from around the world. A Driver Guide is responsible for safely operating coach buses and Ice Explorer vehicles while delivering high-quality interpretive tour content in a professional, interactive manner, meeting Pursuit's service goals.

What will you do in this job?
- Provide guests with a high-quality tour experience, including driving and commentary.
- Coordinate guest and tour group movements on/off Coaches and Ice Explorers.
- Perform mechanical pre-trip and post-trip checks of your assigned vehicle.
- Ensure the safe operation, care, and upkeep of your vehicle throughout the day, including:
- Daily cleaning and servicing of the interior and exterior.
- Keeping windows clear and clean.
- Avoiding damage to the vehicle.
- Ensuring passengers are safely seated and away from moving vehicles.
- Safely load and unload passengers, staying at the coach entrance during loading/unloading.
- Support cleaning schedules for the Transfer Bay area, including washrooms and garbage cleanup.
- Assist colleagues with interpretive information, managing tour groups, and coordinating departures and arrivals.
- Communicate observations and comments to co-workers and management promptly.
- Uphold environmental stewardship standards.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
What skills and experience do you need?
- Class 2 License with air brake (Q endorsement), required (References required).
- Experience driving coach buses, required.
- Strong organization and time management skills, with a passion for guest and employee experience.
- Commitment to safe, reliable, courteous driving at all times, including during licensing.
- Guest service orientation and passion for memorable experiences.
- Problem-solving skills with a positive attitude.
- Second language skills are an asset.
- Fluent in English, able to communicate over two-way radio.
- Capable of manual tasks (bending, stooping, squatting, stretching).
- Enjoy working outdoors in mountain weather conditions.
- Positive attitude, sense of humor, friendly and energetic personality.
- Willingness to complete a week-long interpretive training program.
- Dependable, self-motivated, and team-oriented.
- Comfortable working outdoors in all weather conditions.
- Meet grooming and appearance standards.
- Consent to a criminal record check.
- First-Aid certification or higher is an asset.
