What will I be doing?

Role

Your role in technical pricing will vary daily. Here are some of the key responsibilities:

  5. Automate, streamline, and document pricing processes for efficiency.
  6. Present technical proposals to stakeholders as part of sign-off and governance processes.
  7. Manage certain processes and liaise with relevant stakeholders internally and externally.
  8. Manage and develop your line reports' careers.
What would we like to see in you?
  • A 2:1 bachelor’s degree or higher in a numerical subject or equivalent experience.
  • Experience in general insurance pricing, underwriting, or related technical functions.
  • Experience applying machine learning, statistical, and mathematical techniques in insurance pricing, predictive modeling, and analytics.
  • Strong numerical and analytical skills with attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication skills for presenting to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Self-motivated, capable of working independently or in a team, managing time effectively under pressure.
  • Drive to improve and demonstrate core company values.
  • Experience analyzing data with actuarial or analytical techniques, or working in UK personal or commercial lines underwriting, is advantageous.

We encourage applications from candidates who do not meet all criteria, as we value diversity and inclusion.

What’s on offer?
  • 36.25 hours/week with flexitime and flexible working options.
  • Annual pay review and performance bonus.
