POSITION SUMMARY

The TruGuard Associate Analyst works with a fast-paced team of business and technical collaborators to analyze pharmacy benefit billing claims data for accuracy and contractual compliance. The Associate Analyst is responsible for configuring and analyzing the results from a claims review system for a portfolio of clients. They prepare client reports and may be asked to further analyze the data to provide additional insights. This position can be 100% remote, but cannot be performed remotely from Colorado, California, or New York City.


RESPONSIBILITIES

  1. Interpret clients' contractual pricing terms and benefit plan details and model these terms using logic rules in the claims review system.
  2. Analyze system results for pricing and contract adherence, verifying prescription drug discounts and completing end-of-year reconciliations when discrepancies are identified.
  3. Generate reports containing findings from claims analysis and contract compliance review.
  4. Produce ad-hoc analyses to support internal and customer requests for data modeling utilizing Excel and business intelligence tools.
  5. Communicate with third parties to understand contract terms and provide performance status updates.
  6. Communicate findings and provide subject matter expertise to pharmacy benefit consultants and internal partners.
  7. Partner with business and technical colleagues to monitor, analyze, and implement product enhancements.
  8. Manage delivery deadlines and schedules.
  9. Manage and document workflow using Salesforce.

QUALIFICATIONS

  1. Bachelor's degree with relevant analytical coursework (statistics, computer science, finance, economics, math, health sciences, or similar).
  2. 0-2 years of related work experience. Experience with healthcare data, particularly pharmacy claims, a plus.
  3. Advanced Excel skills required.
  4. Experience reporting on analytic results and presenting findings to non-technical audiences.
  5. Proficiency in SQL is a plus.
  6. Ability to apply logical reasoning and critical thinking skills to contract interpretation, data transformation, and problem solving.
  7. Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  8. Fluency in English.
  9. Demonstrated project planning/time management ability and experience managing multiple priorities at once.
