Operations Coordinator - Grande Prairie North Area

GrizzlyTrek is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Operations Coordinator to join our team. This full-time position offers the chance to drive operational excellence, support the recruitment of local personnel, and foster meaningful engagement with Indigenous communities while managing technical staffing solutions. As part of our commitment to employee support, the successful candidate will receive a company vehicle or vehicle allowance.

Key Responsibilities
  • Customer Engagement: Act as the primary liaison, building and nurturing long-term relationships with customers.
  • Crew Dispatching: Coordinate and dispatch operational crews to project sites, ensuring efficiency and readiness.
  • Local Recruitment: Assist in recruiting qualified local personnel, with a focus on aligning candidates with project needs and fostering community engagement.
  • Project Oversight: Work closely with teams to guarantee the successful and timely completion of projects.
  • Onboarding & Timekeeping: Support seamless onboarding for new employees and maintain accurate timekeeping systems.
  • Mentorship: Provide mentorship and guidance to team members, fostering skill development and career growth.
  • Administrative Support: Manage logistical and operational tasks to enhance the team's overall efficiency.
Qualifications
  • Strong background in field or gas plant operations is preferred; trade experience with shutdown expertise is a plus.
  • Proven track record of mentorship and employee development.
  • Experience in recruiting and onboarding personnel.
  • Excellent organizational and communication skills.
  • Experience working with Indigenous communities is an asset.
  • Ability to juggle multiple priorities and manage time effectively.
  • Familiarity with timekeeping and project management tools.
