We seek experienced construction professionals for our Commercial & Industrial Solar PV installation team, mainly installing grid-tied, roof-mounted systems across upstate New York. Ideal candidates have construction or electrical skills, are comfortable working outdoors at heights, and are willing to travel overnight. Positions are full-time with competitive pay and benefits.

Responsibilities include:

• Installing PV systems, including roof penetrations, mounting, wiring, and trench work;
• Ensuring safety and adherence to OSHA standards;
• Using hand and power tools, heavy machinery;
• Heavy lifting and working at heights;
• Maintaining quality and code compliance;
• Supporting tool and vehicle maintenance;
• Following instructions from crew leads and project managers.

Qualifications:

• Ability to work well with others, delegate, and problem-solve;
• Mentoring less experienced installers;
• No solar experience needed for entry-level roles;
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation;
• Willingness to learn and prioritize safety.

Working Conditions:

• Working at heights on roofs;
• Extreme temperatures;
• Ladder climbing;
• Long days, travel up to 50% of the time;
• Ability to lift 50+ pounds repeatedly;

Preferred but not required:

• OSHA 10 certification;
• Experience in solar installation or related trades.
