They heavily rely on their business intelligence (BI) infrastructure to optimize player experiences and drive business growth. Job Summary :

We are looking for a talented BI Data Engineer to design, build, and maintain robust data pipelines and systems. You will play a crucial role in ensuring data integrity, accessibility, and usability for business intelligence and analytics purposes.

Key Activities and Deliverables :

1. Design, build, and optimize ETL (extract, transform, load) pipelines for data aggregation and movement.
2. Implement and maintain data security protocols and processes.
3. Ensure data is readily available and usable for reporting and visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Looker, Meta, Power BI).
4. Work with large data volumes and event-driven data.
5. Contribute to the ongoing improvement of the BI infrastructure.

Qualifications :

• 3-5+ years of professional experience in data science, data engineering, or analytics roles.
• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or equivalent experience.
• Experience with cloud-based data services, particularly AWS (Amazon Web Services) offerings such as S3, EC2, and EMR.
• Proficiency in Python and an object-oriented programming language.
• Strong database experience, with a focus on event-driven data.
• Proven ability to handle large data volumes.
• A proactive and hands-on approach to problem-solving in complex environments.
• Experience with testing methodologies.
• SQL scripting / programming experience.

Preferred Candidates Will Have :

• Master’s or PhD in a relevant field, or equivalent experience.
• Practical experience with agile development methodologies and collaborative coding practices.
• Programming proficiency in Java and / or GoLang.
• Experience with the Hadoop ecosystem, including Spark, HDFS, Hive, Kafka, Sqoop, and HBase.
• Experience with data pipeline tools such as Luigi.
• Experience in mobile or social analytics, or within the mobile / social gaming industry (or related industries).
• Up-to-date knowledge of current technologies in data science, BI, and data management.
