This is a full-time on-site role as a Wide Format Printer Operator located in Ontario, CA. The Wide Format Printer Operator will be responsible for printer support, print production, printing, bindery, and inkjet operations on a daily basis.

Key Roles and Responsibilities
As a Wide Format Printer Operator, you will play a crucial role in our production team, ensuring the efficient operation of our wide format printing equipment and delivering high-quality outputs to meet client specifications.
- Operational Excellence :
- Operate and maintain wide format printers to produce prints of various sizes and formats.
- Monitor print quality and adjust settings as necessary to ensure optimal results.
- Perform routine maintenance, cleaning, and troubleshoot equipment issues to minimize downtime.
- Production Coordination :
- Collaborate with the production team to prioritize jobs and meet deadlines.
- Follow job specifications and ensure accuracy in print production.
- Manage inventory of printing supplies and materials, replenishing as needed.
- Quality Assurance :
- Conduct quality checks on printed materials to ensure adherence to company standards.
- Address any issues related to color consistency, resolution, and finishing requirements.
- Coordinate with other departments such as design, sales, and customer service to fulfill client orders efficiently.
- Communicate effectively with colleagues to maintain workflow and address production challenges.
Skills Required
- Proficiency in operating wide or grand format printers, printing 61 to 126 inches wide (e.g., HP Latex, Vutek, EFI, Roland, Epson).
- Strong attention to detail and color, and the ability to maintain high standards of quality.
- Technical aptitude for troubleshooting equipment and resolving minor issues.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Effective communication skills to collaborate with internal teams and meet customer expectations.
- Ability to lift heavy media and printer equipment.
- Familiarity with Excel / Google Sheets.
- Mechanically inclined.
Preferred Qualifications
- Prior experience in operating wide format printers in a commercial or production environment.
- Knowledge of RIP software and color management principles (e.g., Onyx, Fiery, Wasatch).
- Familiarity with solid and perforated materials.
- Willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies and industry trends.
