Role: Service Technician

Location: Kamloops, BC

Are you looking to grow your RV Technician career and become an expert in the RV industry? We are seeking qualified candidates to join our Service Team. This is a Full-Time, Seasonal position at our Kamloops, BC Dealership.

The RV Service Technician is responsible for diagnosing and repairing all types of RVs, maintaining clear communication with the Service Manager and Service Writers to ensure repairs are approved prior to starting work. The technician must also input clear notes in work orders and may meet with customers to discuss diagnoses, repairs, or explain completed work.

Job Duties

1. Troubleshoot and diagnose RVs requiring repair and maintenance
2. Perform repairs and maintenance on propane gas and electrical appliances
3. Complete all paperwork and documentation of repairs
4. Provide customer service and perform other duties related to the Service Technician role
5. Perform other duties as assigned by the Supervisor

Requirements

1. Red Seal certification
2. RV or automotive maintenance experience
3. Experience with RV & trailer repairs is an asset
4. Strong diagnostic skills
5. Experience with plumbing, carpentry, or electrical work (automotive or industrial)
6. Experience with vehicle hitch and wiring
7. Level 1 RV Certificate and experience in RV & trailers are assets
8. General house renovation skills
9. Positive attitude
10. Ability to work Saturdays during busy season
11. Hourly wage range: $20.00 - $28.00, based on experience
