Tasks:

  1. Address customers’ complaints or concerns
  2. Mountain driving expertise
  3. Drive as part of a two-person team or convoy
  4. Drive lighter, special purpose trucks
  5. Load and unload goods
  6. Obtain special permits and other documents required to transport cargo on international routes
  7. Operate and drive straight or articulated trucks to transport goods and materials
  8. Oversee condition of vehicle and inspect tires, lights, brakes, cold storage, and other equipment
  9. Pay and receive payments for goods
  10. Perform brake adjustments
  11. Perform emergency roadside repairs
  12. Perform preventive maintenance
  13. Receive and relay information to central dispatch
  14. Tarping and ensuring safety and security of cargo
  15. Transport and handle dangerous goods
