As part of our continuing growth in this high technology market, Teledyne Digital Imaging Inc. is recruiting for an Electronic Design Specialist in Waterloo !
This is a fixed term position ( 12 months)
Position Summary
The Advanced Imaging group develops both full custom and semi-custom image sensors and cameras for airborne, space, and life science applications.
In this role, you will be focusing on activities like hardware design, board testing, board programming and debugging based on project needs. You will be working together with a team that may include sensor/electronics/software/FPGA/mechanical design specialists, process engineers, and test specialists. You will also interact with other Teledyne groups including manufacturing, purchasing, and CMOS development.
To be successful in this role, what we're looking for in you is:
Hardware design/testing experience
Software design/testing experience
FPGA design/testing experience
Comfortable with measurement equipment such as oscilloscope and working in a laboratory setting
Excellent problem solving skills
Experience preparing & revising technical reports and project documents
Must be a team player, as well as be able to work independently
Qualifications:
Bachelors degree in Electrical (Electronics)/Computer Engineering or equivalent
3 years of applicable experience
Proven experience working within a large multidisciplinary team and good communication skills are required
Eligible for Controlled Goods security clearance
