The Division of Respirology and Sleep Medicine in the Department of Medicine at the University of Saskatchewan invites applications for a tenure-track faculty position (rank appropriate to qualifications), focusing on Asthma research. The successful candidate will lead research initiatives aligned with clinical work in the division and department, utilizing methodologies such as basic and clinical laboratory research, clinical trials, and population-based studies. Responsibilities include teaching, supervising students, developing an independent research program, and engaging with the scholarly community. Interdisciplinary and collaborative research programs are encouraged.
Knowledge of asthma pathophysiology and pharmacotherapy is required. Experience with bronchoprovocation, inhalation challenges, sputum analysis, FeNO, and skin prick testing is valued.
