Job description

Compensation: $85,000 – $125,000* /year (full-time / permanent)

Project Managers at On Side manage and oversee all aspects of the restoration of property after a disaster of any sort. If you hate the idea of being in one place all day, you’ll love going to different job sites while having the stability of a local branch office.

Responsibilities:

  • Working with insurance adjusters to ensure a seamless experience for the insured.
  • Quality control of all aspects of the job.
  • Owning the job; it’s essentially a reflection of you at the end of the day.
  • Providing superior customer service interactions with property owners, businesses, and families.
  • Assessing damage and determining the scope of work needed.
  • Managing and directing restoration staff in a supportive team environment during:
  • Disaster remediation efforts (e.g., water damage, fire & smoke damage, weather damage)
  • Cleaning & packing
  • Rebuilding
  • Project completion

What you bring:

  • A minimum of 5 years of project management experience in the restoration industry.
  • Experience with Xactimate.
  • A passion for customer service with strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Self-motivated and goal-oriented.
  • Open to working after hours and on weekends.
  • Problem-solving and priority management skills.
  • Computer skills; you’ll be working in an MS Office environment.
  • Clean criminal record.

  • Enjoyment of working in a fast-paced and changing environment.
  • Ongoing commitment to self-development.
  • Willingness (but not required) to travel within Canada to support cross-region teammates.

Of Note:

  • Disasters can strike at any time; a rotating after-hours on-call work schedule is a requirement.
  • *The base salary listed is determined by project volume and gross margins combined with industry experience and demonstrated industry relationships. Total compensation, including commission and bonus structure, will be discussed in full should you be selected for an interview.
