Role Overview:

This role will report to the Director, Data & Analytics in the Financial Systems team and be responsible for leading various technology and process-driven strategic initiatives aimed at streamlining global processes through automation and business intelligence data solutions. This includes solution design, development, implementation, and managing functional system administration activities. To succeed, you should have strong project management and change management skills, a solid aptitude for working with data, experience in data analytics, and the ability to collaborate across departments. The role requires attention to detail and the ability to multitask in a complex environment. The ideal candidate will focus on customer service, be a team player, and have a proven track record of building relationships across business groups, finance, and IT, while leading a high-performing team to deliver quality results.

As a member of this team, you will be responsible to:

  • Oversee and manage a team of BI & Data Analysts to deliver high-quality outputs to business stakeholders.
  • Lead strategic finance transformation initiatives supporting finance and business processes through new technologies, including Power Platform (BI, Query, Apps, Automate), RPA (UiPath), SQL, and more.
  • Collaborate with business stakeholders to prioritize needs and evaluate data source requirements.
  • Identify process improvement opportunities to drive efficiencies and optimization.
  • Support your team in solution design, development, validation, and deployment with minimal delays.
  • Provide application and change management support to ensure seamless adoption.
  • Participate in training and education initiatives, including staying updated on technological trends.
  • Manage administrative activities related to financial systems.
  • Ensure compliance with internal controls, governance, and accessibility policies.
  • Develop your team’s skills, resilience, and adaptability to change.

To succeed in this role, you have:

  • An undergraduate degree in Accounting, Business Administration, Computer Science, or a related field. Professional accounting designation (CPA, CFA) is a plus.
  • 4-6 years of experience in data and analytics, preferably in finance, technology, or commercial real estate.
  • Experience with UiPath Studio, Power Apps, and Power Automate for automation solutions.
  • Advanced Excel skills (Pivot Tables, Power Query, VBA Macros) and proficiency in Power BI and SQL.
  • Technical expertise in data mining, analysis, and understanding of data management and architecture. Azure experience is an asset.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and innovative approaches.
  • Eagerness to learn and improve capabilities.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, comfortable engaging with technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Strong project management and organizational skills, capable of handling high-priority projects under pressure.
  • Experience in commercial real estate is preferred but not required.
  • PMP designation is advantageous.
