Job description

Our client, a year-over-year Top Employer has engaged ROSS (www.getROSS.com) to help them recruit a Regional Software Sales Manager. ROSS is a team of People Specialists helping companies align their People Strategy with their business growth. We provide remote or onsite HR and Recruitment solutions complemented by leading edge open-source HRIS software.

Responsibilities:
  1. Responsible for achievement of Regional/Unit new software, renewals and Professional Services targets.
  2. Sets strategy and goals for regional group staff through comprehensive Go To Market Plans.
  3. Plans and recommends staff promotions/additions/deletions as needed.
  4. Chairs Industry team(s) as appropriate.
  5. Helps representatives to meet goals in day-to-day performance.
  6. Develops & maintains Senior & Executive Level Relationships with Customers and Prospects.
  7. Coaches representatives in the application of Solution Selling.
  8. Conducts Weekly Review Meetings with Account Representatives.
  9. Conducts Weekly Team Meetings.
  10. Through pipeline review meetings, ensures that CEC (forecast and customer) data is accurate and up to date.
  11. Submits accurate and validated forecasts to Sales Vice President.
  12. Negotiates contracts and bids, as well as follow-up support to all closing sales.
  13. Coaches each representative in expanding selling skills and people skills, and mentors/validates representatives’ capability/situational knowledge; role plays may be required.
  14. Helps representatives to identify new sales opportunities.
  15. Interviews representatives; evaluates performance of group staff.
  16. Advises sales representatives and assistants in the handling of complicated sales and policy issues.
  17. Interprets sales and management policies for the group.
  18. Assists in planning and implementation of marketing strategies.
  19. Develops joint partnership strategies with Alliances Manager.
  20. Performs other duties as assigned.
